Reports are that peace talks have broken down between NATO forces and the Yugoslavian military. It looked for a while as if Belgrade was ready to capitulate in the face of the campaign of terror bombing by the U.S. and NATO.
But apparently the Yugoslavian government would not accept any agreement that did not guarantee, among other things, the territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, i.e., no independence for Kosovo.
This action will no doubt spark a fierce and brutal response from NATO. Expect in the next few days more destruction of the civilian infrastructure in Serbia. That means more bridges bombed, more factories destroyed, more hospitals hit -- and more deaths.
Once again, it is the working men and women of Serbia _and_ Kosovo who must suffer for the actions of warmongerers in Belgrade, London and Washington. Once again, innocent people suffer while the real war criminals -- Milosevic, Blair, and Clinton -- continue their bloody agendas in the Balkans.
